INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Thirteen IFD units responded when a fire broke out in the World of Wonders Parking Garage at Circle Centre Mall.

Investigators say a car on the seventh floor of the garage at Illinois & Maryland streets started the fire around 9:30 a.m. No one was hurt, but two cars were heavily damaged.

Crews at the scene reported substantial flooding inside Noodles and Company, which is on the first floor, with some minor damage into Dick's Last Resort. Investigators believe that the standpipe that feeds water from the main source was weakened or had a small break, which led to water flowing into the restaurant. It was small enough that pressure wasn't affected for the crews putting out the fire on the 7th floor. Fire Investigators are working with garage owners and mall officials to determine exactly what happened.

At last check, businesses under the fire were still assessing damage.
