INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — An Indianapolis business man is in serious trouble facing rape and sex crime charges, and federal authorities want him held, too.

Amjad Salhab is in the Marion County Jail facing four counts of rape, three counts of child seduction and one count of criminal confinement, which are all felony charges.

Jail records also show that U.S. Immigration authorities placed a detainer on Salhab.

He owns a strip mall at 34th Street and Keystone Avenue.

The alleged rape incident reportedly took place at a Churchman Avenue nursing facility on Indy’s southeast side.

Salhab has a $50,000 bond and he’s scheduled for an initial hearing May 2.
