DANVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — Debra Beasley, the owner of Beasley's Orchard in Danville, has died at 66 years old.

The orchard is a staple for pumpkin and apple picking, corn mazes and other holiday festivities in the community.

The business made the announcement on Facebook Wednesday.

Debra and her late husband John were responsible for building the farm, the post said. The couple ran the business for 36 years until 2018 when their son took over.

Debbie loved to run the barn market, and she was responsible for the farm's popular fall festival weekends.

The orchard said business would continue, honoring Debra the best way they know how: "by continuing to be stewards of our land and serving our customers."
