Over 50 local artists to participate in inaugural Indy Mural Festival

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Indianapolis is getting a makeover!

More than 50 local artists will participate in the inaugural Indy Mural Festival Oct. 26 and 27.

An official celebration will kick off in the 1400 block of Madison Avenue on Oct. 26 from 2 - 6 p.m. with food trucks, music and art activities.

The festival will feature mural, street and graffiti artists assigned an approximately 15x15-foot wall in one of six locations across Indianapolis:

  • 1400 Madison Avenue
  • 202 East Palmer Street
  • 1530 Kennington Street
  • 1544 Kennington Street
  • 229 Shelby Street
  • 1029 Fletcher Avenue

The artists will be paid a flat fee for their work based on the funds that are raised. Click here to donate.
