One year after drop-off sites close, Johnson County recycling center opens

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WTHR) - Good news for people in Johnson County. The recycling district is opening a new service center, more than a year after closing all of its recycling drop-off sites.

The new center will officially open September 10 in Franklin.

People will be able to drop off their recycling at the location on Arvin Road Tuesday through Friday and the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month.

They will accept items like paper, cardboard, plastic, metal and glass.
