Ohio woman arrested for stealing more than $1,600 worth of Girl Scout cookies

NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio (WTHR) – Police in Ohio are reporting a cookie bandit that stole more than $1,600 worth of Girl Scout cookies Monday.

North College Hill police say Noel Hines is accused of taking a delivery of a large Girl Scout cookie order to sell for a local troop on March 30.

Over the course of six months, the company and Officer Henn with North College Hill Police tried to make contact with Hines to either get a payment or the cookies back.

Theft charges were filed against Hines. Police say she was also arrested on unrelated charges while at court.
