The Noblesville woman who came up with the idea for Southern Biscuits and Gravy-flavored Lays potato chips says she won the brand's annual contest.

Hailey Green tweeted that she won, beating out three other flavors.

Yahoo Food is also reporting that Green won.

Green said her grandmother's biscuits and gravy inspired her choice.

Other finalists' flavors in the "Do Us a Flavor" competition included Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro, Wavy West Coast Truffle Fries and New York Reuben.

Green won $1 million and will get 1 percent of the sales of her flavor for a year.

A WTHR viewer points out that the biscuits and gravy flavor has been out there for a while, marketed as "Larry the Cable Guy" chips. Who knew?
