'No evidence of physical injuries' in death of 8-week-old in Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WTHR) — Indiana State Police say an autopsy found no evidence of physical injuries in the death of a baby.

The cause of death for 8-week-old Kensli Deese is pending toxicology results.

Police say the baby was dropped off at a babysitter in the Pennington Trailer Park in Franklin early Tuesday morning. Shortly before 11 a.m., officers were called for a medical emergency.

The officers arrived a minute after the dispatch and began performing life-saving measures on the infant, who was then transported to Johnson Memorial Hospital. The infant later died.

No arrests have been made and no charges filed.
