No charges filed against pair who boarded Lebanon school bus

LEBANON, Ind. (WTHR) - Prosecutors are not filing charges against two people who got a school bus to pull over on Interstate 65 last month.

Investigators say the man and woman, who were allowed on board the bus by a substitute bus driver, saw a student point at their Hummer and make a threatening hand gesture that simulated a gun.

They then motioned for the bus to pull over to let the driver know what happened. Police say the substitute driver is the one who invited the pair onto the bus so they could point out the student who made the gesture.

Lebanon Community Schools fired the driver and disciplined the student.

According to our partners at the Lebanon Reporter, police determined the man and woman never meant any harm.
