DALLAS, Tex. (KXAS) - An implosion of a high-rise building in Dallas didn't go as planned when part of the building was left standing.
The 11-story building was imploded Sunday morning to make way for a new development.
But part of the building - the middle core of the tower - remained standing.
Developers plan to use a high-rise excavator to bring the rest of the building down.
The former computer services building will eventually be turned into a 227-acre mixed use project that includes offices and residences.
