UTAH (WTHR) – Somehow, a Utah man managed to get locked inside a 24-hour fitness gym.
Dan Hill posted photos from inside the empty gym on Facebook.
"They closed the doors and went home while I was swimming my laps in the pool," Hill wrote on Facebook. "Doesn't the name suggests that they stay open 24 hours?"
Hill said he was walking around the gym just trying to figure out how to get out. He even called 911 dispatch.
"I called my wife, she said find a comfortable place to sleep. LOL," Hill wrote.
Hill's Facebook post has been shared nearly 9,000 times.
Just before 1 a.m., Hill shared an update. Police officers came and let him out of the building.
When Hill went back to the gym the next day, he brought an "I'm here" sign to put up next to the pool to prevent any future lock-ins.
