DE QUEEN, Ark. (WTHR) — Charlie is a warrior and is ready to fight breast cancer!

Arkansas photographer Mandy Parks captured various emotions of Charlie and her husband, Kelsey, in an emotional photo shoot.

In the photos, Charlie wears a pink dress and pink ribbon necklace as Kelsey shaves her hair off in preparation for chemotherapy. Both shed tears through the process, but Charlie puts on pink boxing gloves to indicate she is ready to fight this battle.

Parks shared 21 photos on Facebook of the photo session and said, "Strong women aren't simply born. They are made by the storms they walk through."

Charlie documented her journey on her Facebook page and said a mammogram and ultrasound revealed she had a benign tumor. She said the tumor was bothering her, so she wanted to have the lump removed. Pathology results came back as carcinogenic, so Charlie had all of her lymph nodes removed. The oncologist says Charlie caught the breast cancer early and fast, so they're going to attack it just as fast and even stronger.

As of Friday morning, Parks' post has been shared over 289,000 times.
