(WTHR) – Being called a "loser" on your birthday is never fun, especially if you're a 2-year-old.
That's what happened to a little girl in Missouri when the baker made a mistake with her birthday cake.
Melin Jones ordered a cake for her daughter from Walmart and asked for it to say "Happy Birthday Lizard." Her 2-year-old's name is Elizabeth, but they often call her by the nickname "Lizard."
Instead of "Lizard," the baker heard "Loser."
Jones posted a photo of the cake mistake that made her upset at first, but the family is now getting a laugh out of it.
Her daughter wasn't too hurt by the mistake though. She couldn't read it and Jones didn't tell her what it said.
"I can’t believe I actually have to say, this but my child can not read, and we didn’t tell her what it said EVEN if we did tell her that the cake said loser she doesn’t know what a loser is. So chill. Laugh, it’s funny," Jones wrote in her Facebook post.
The mistake actually happened last year, but Jones held off on sharing it because she didn't want the employee to get in trouble but after getting requests to share it, she decided to get another laugh out of it. They ended up getting a new cake too.
