ST. JOSEPH, Mich. (WTHR) - A 6-year-old Michigan girl has spread more than 1,000 acts of kindness.

Liliana Hake loves making others smile.

One of her biggest acts of kindness so far was designing a coloring book, called "The Lily Pad," for kids who are sick and hospitalized.

"Kids feel sad, lonely in the hospital and coloring is the best thing to make them smile," Liliana said.

She also raised money to pay off school lunches when she learned not all of her classmates could afford it.

Whether it's something big like fundraising or just a hug for someone who needs it, Liliana wants more people to choose to spread joy.

"It's almost Valentine's Day. I think everyone should want to do acts of kindness. If you want to do this, it should be freely, You should want to do this," she said.

If you don't know where to start, here's Liliana's tip: Make a new friend, ask good questions and always wear a smile.
