ONTARIO, CANADA (WTHR) — A driver in Canada was charged with failing to ensure a toddler was properly seat-belted.
Instead of a proper booster seat, police found a 2-year-old sitting on top of a case of beer.
In Canada by law, children under 40 pounds or under 8 years old who are also under 80 pounds or less than 4 feet 9 inches tall require a booster seat.
The toddler was unharmed and police charged the 22-year-old driver for failing to properly restrain the 2-year-old.
