PHILIPPINES (WTHR) — If rain on your wedding day is lucky, what would a volcanic eruption count as?
A couple getting married in the Philippines over the weekend had that happen to them.
The couple exchanged vows under a cloud of smoke and ash from Taal, one of the world's smallest active volcanoes.
Despite the eruption, the ceremony and reception were calm. At the end of the ceremony, ash began to fall on the area.
The eruption led to 24,000 people being evacuated from the island.
