INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — President Trump's daughter Ivanka was in Indiana Wednesday.
She visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, touring the facility with Governor Eric Holcomb.
On Thursday, she will visit the Indiana Women’s Prison to learn about The Last Mile, a business skills-training and coding program. The program gives incarcerated women relevant job skills to propel them to in-demand and growing technology careers when they return to their communities.
Trump and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross will be convening the fourth American Workforce Policy Advisory Board on Thursday.
"Our mission is straightforward, to ensure inclusive growth and opportunity in our booming economy by creating pathways for all Americans to acquire the skills needed to secure and retain good paying jobs," said Trump, who is an adviser to the President.
The meeting will run from 9:30 a.m. to around noon.
