-- Olin Corporation plans to close its copper and copper alloy manufacturing plant in Indianapolis. The plant employs about 200 workers.
Olin said in December the plant might be closed because of continuing depressed conditions in the brass markets it serves. A spokesman says the company expects to close the plant by the end of the first quarter ending March 31st.
The company said it would consolidate the production with its East Alton, Illinois, facility.
