SPOKANE, Wash. (WTHR) - Gun control advocates have created a series of statues they are hoping to convince voters to consider the issue at the ballot box.
The 3-D printed statues, called "The Last Lockdown," depict a scared child hiding under a school desk. Ten of the statues were displayed at cities across the nation last weekend.
They will be displayed in 10 targeted congressional districts at various times leading up to the midterm elections.
Activist and former U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords teamed up with student activists to create the statues.
