LACOOCHEE, Fla. (WTHR) — A Florida woman is in jail after misusing the 911 system because she called police multiple times because her boyfriend was not being nice to her.
WFLA-TV reports 40-year-old Mary Ann Parrish called 911 six times in four hours to report her boyfriend not being nice.
According to an arrest report, she was on the phone with dispatchers when police responded to the home. Police arrested her Monday for "purposes other than an emergency communication," the Pasco County Sheriff's Office said.
Parrish is facing a charge for misuse of the 911 system. She's being held in the Pasco County Jail on a $150 bond.
