You can be part of the conversation on racial injustice with these resources

If you're wondering how to help, what to do or where to start, there are resources everywhere.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - George Floyd's death has reignited a nationwide conversation about racial injustice.

In order to see real, lasting change in our society, we're going to have to put in the work every day.

If you're wondering how to help, what to do or where to start, there are resources everywhere.

The first step is educating ourselves and recognizing the racial injustices all around us.

The organization World Trust put together a site called Racial Equity Tools with links to a handful of educational resources.

The next step is getting involved. Look for groups in our communities that are trying to make a difference. Talk with local leaders. Vote in the fall.

We have to stay engaged in the community conversation.

If you have the money, donate it to causes pushing for racial equality. You don't have to be a Michael Jordan and donate $100 million to make a difference.

A quick Google search will link you to hundreds of organizations accepting donations.

It's going to take work and it's going to take time, but the only way to do it is together.

Donation sites:

George Floyd Memorial GoFundMe

NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund
