"Without fail, he starts showing his green, grimacing face all around Whitestown about a week leading up to our annual Santa's Workshop and nighttime Santa parade," the city in a release.

Police expect the Grinch to show up again this year, stealing decorations and causing trouble at local businesses. But they need the public's help to keep up with all his antics. Whenever you see the Grinch around Whitestown, police are asking you to get a photo and post it on social media, Tag the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department and the Town of Whitestown to make sure authorities see it as soon as possible.

"Our skilled police officers have arrested the Grinch in the nick of time every year that we've been having our Santa events," the city.

This year, Santa's Workshop in Whitestown is Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1–5 p.m. at the Whitestown Municipal Complex Gymnasium. The Santa Parade will follow, from 6–9 p.m.
