INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — It's graduation season, and life after you earn your diploma can mean making a lot of challenging decisions.
While some students opt for more school, others are ready to join the workforce this spring. That includes students who recently graduated from the Walker Career Center.
Graduates took part in a signing-day ceremony Tuesday. The students are celebrating their commitments to jobs in welding, auto technology, banking, culinary arts and more.
"It's an awesome opportunity to get young folks entered into the workforce early where they can learn a skill and hopefully create a career out of it," said Jonathon Burns, Yamaha Marine Precision Propellers Inc.
They earned career training and industry certifications through their Warren Township classes.
