It all started when Heritage High School coach Rob Querry of Palm Bay, Fla. challenged his team to win at least 14 games this season.

If it did, the coach and his wife agreed to let team members name their baby.

On Tuesday, the team won the game to assure the first winning baseball season in Heritage's seven-year history.

With the win, the team named Coach Querry's child Benjamin Smalls.

If the name sounds familiar, its because the team combined the names of two characters in "The Sandlot" movie — Bennie "The Jet" and Scotty Smalls.

Mom says she's not 100 percent sold on the name, but there is an advantage to it.

When the child asks about the history of his name, she plans to tell him to Google it.
