MONROVIA, Ind. (WTHR) - Morgan County authorities say a semi fire west of Monrovia blocked westbound Interstate 70 for five hours Saturday morning.
The fire was reported just before 5:00 a.m. Saturday.
Traffic diverted at State Road 39 to detour around the scene, which involved a large fuel spill.
The lane closures ended just before 10:00 a.m. when I-70 traffic was able resume westbound travel at the Monrovia exit for State Road 39.
There is no word on injuries at this point.
The Morgan County Sheriff's Office told INDOT several hundred gallons of oil and fuel spilled at the scene.
