Texas Roadhouse offering free lunch to veterans, active military in honor of Veterans Day

Texas Roadhouse is inviting all veterans and active U.S. service members for lunch on the house in honor of Veterans Day.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Texas Roadhouse is inviting all veterans and active U.S. service members for lunch on the house in honor of Veterans Day.

"For the ninth year, every Texas Roadhouse location across the country will participate in free lunch event to honor the men and women of our armed forces," Texas Roadhouse said in a release.

On Monday, Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. all veterans — including all active, retired, or former U.S. military — can enjoy a free lunch at Texas Roadhouse.

Veterans and active service members can choose one of 10 entrées from Texas Roadhouse's special Veterans Day menu, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two made-from-scratch sides plus a choice of any Coca-Cola product, sweet tea/iced tea or coffee during lunch.

"Texas Roadhouse appreciates the men and women of our armed forces," Texas Roadhouse said in a release. "Each year, we honor their commitment to protecting our nation by hosting a free lunch for all active and retired military."

Proof of service includes military or VA card, or discharge papers.

Participating Indiana locations include:

  • 14758 Greyhound Plaza, Carmel
  • 10340 US 36 East, Avon
  • 12950 Publishers Drive, Fishers
  • 9111 Michigan Road, Indianapolis
  • 1405 North Shadeland Avenue, Indianapolis
