INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - It's the time of year we all dread: the return of potholes.

After recent fluctuating temperatures, you've probably noticed more of them scattered across roads.

We've already gotten several email and phone call complaints across the city.

The Department of Public Works said they were busy on street repairs Tuesday. They hope to fill as many hazards as possible before rain begins, which is expected later this week.

DPW has a crew assigned to potholes but they're currently forced to work with "cold mix", which is only a temporary fix.

You can check the Indy Pothole Viewer for a map of current pothole complaints.
