OWEN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - A semi truck crashed into a school bus Monday morning while students were still on board.
The truck hit the Spencer Owen Community Schools bus on US-231 just south of Hancock School Rd. around 7:50 a.m., according to State Police.
All of the students on board are expected to be okay, but several were taken to to hospital to be checked out as a precaution. The bus driver was also hurt.
The semi truck driver was given a citation.
