WASHINGTON (AP) - Mitt Romney has won the New Jersey Republican presidential primary, collecting all 50 convention delegates at stake in the contest.

With the primary season winding down, Romney already has enough delegates to secure the Republican nomination for president at the party's national convention in August. He will take on Democrat Barack Obama in the fall.

New Jersey is one of five states holding presidential primaries Tuesday. The others are New Mexico, South Dakota, Montana and California. A total of 264 delegates are at stake, and Romney has a chance to win them all.

Romney has 1,266 delegates. He needs 1,144 to win the nomination.

After Tuesday, only one Republican presidential primary remains, in Utah on June 26.
