ELWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) - There's an open invitation for the general public to attend a Thursday funeral for a Korean War veteran who has no family.
The funeral service for George Green is set for 11 a.m. at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood.
Burial service with full military honors will follow at 1 p.m. at Marion National Cemetery.
Green's obituary says the 89-year-old lived in the town his entire life.
He never married or had kids.
