Police look for man who ran from south side crash

The crash damaged cars and utility lines at Troy and Madison Saturday night.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Metro Police are on the lookout for a man who flipped his car in the middle of the intersection of Madison Avenue and Troy Avenue Saturday night, then got out and ran away.

The crash happened just before 9:00 p.m.

Police say the driver was speeding on Madison when he apparently lost control and hit some parked cars, then flipped in the intersection, damaging utility poles in the crash.

The car, which is registered to a business, landed on its top. Police don't know how badly the driver may have been injured.
