INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating after a person was shot and killed on the city's south side Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 450 block of Powell Street near South East Street and Thompson Road around 6:30 a.m.
Police initially listed the victim in critical condition but gave an update a few minutes later and said the person died from their injuries.
Police said the incident is being investigated as a possible home invasion.
