A pedestrian was struck and killed late Friday on an interstate highway in Hendricks County.
According to an alert from the state's Traffic Maintenance Center, I-70's westbound lanes were closed around State Road 39 just before 10 p.m. TMC said the closure was due to a police investigation of a pedestrian struck and fatally injured.
