GREENWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is closing Interstate 65 entrance and exit ramps one by one at various locations in Johnson County this week to make concrete repairs. Most ramp closures start at 7 a.m. and continue into the following morning.

Wednesday morning, INDOT blocked the exit from southbound I-65 onto Whiteland Road.

Plans also include closing the southbound entrance ramp from Main Street at Greenwood to get onto I-65.

The work also included pouring a concrete deck at the State Road 44 bridge over this past weekend.

All work is part of the $84 million Major Moves 2020 project on I-65 between Main Street/Greenwood and S.R. 44/Franklin which includes added travel lanes, full depth pavement replacement and bridge work at Main Street, Whiteland Road, Hurricane Creek and S.R. 44.
