Pacers giving ticket vouchers to anyone who donates to Coats for Kids this Friday

Let’s help Central Indiana children stay warm this fall and winter.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Let’s help Central Indiana children stay warm this fall and winter.

WTHR is proud to partner with Salvation Army, Classic Cleaners, McCool’s Flooring, and Chapman Heating & Air Conditioning for Coats for Kids. The Indiana Pacers are also joining WTHR to collect Coats for Kids.

Before the Pacers hit the court for their pre-season home opener Friday, Oct. 11, they will be collecting coats inside the main entrances of Bankers Life Fieldhouse. You do not need a ticket to the game to donate a coat. Anyone who donates a coat on Friday night will receive a free ticket voucher for a future Pacers game.

You can also drop off coats to any Classic Cleaners locations through Oct. 11.

Coats for Kids is planned for Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Elements Financial Blue Ribbon Pavilion.

Every year for the past 30 plus years, Coats for Kids has provided thousands of free winter coats to children in need.
