INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - It has become an annual tradition, Indianapolis police officers caroling for the kids at IU Health Riley Hospital For Children.
Besides singing, they did crafts with the kids and then went outside for some real fun. The officers lit up the night with lights from their squad cars and flashlights.
"Often times, being police officers, we use our lights on a daily basis going to a crisis, so being able to turn our lights and see a joyful face on the other side of that, it's awesome," said Metro Officer Aaron Hamer.
It's the third consecutive year police have spent part of the holidays at Riley.
