SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - State police arrested a man in southern Indiana for driving twice the speed limit while being nearly that far over the legal blood-alcohol content.
Police say 41-year-old Edward Moore of Grandview was clocked driving 110 MPH in a 55 MPH zone on SR 66 near CR 550 East in Spencer County Monday afternoon.
A field sobriety test conducted at the Spencer County Jail showed Moore's blood-alcohol content was .141 percent, nearly double the legal limit of .08 percent.
Moore was arrested for operating while intoxicated with endangerment, operating while intoxicated, reckless driving and driving while suspended prior, all misdemeanors.
