Red Cross honors Noble County teen for saving friend's life

A northern Indiana high school student is being recognized for helping save his friend's life.

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) — A northern Indiana high school student is being recognized for helping save his friend's life.

The Red Cross says Titus Allard jumped in when his friend started choking.

Now, they're giving the teen the Certificate of Extraordinary Action.

The award is given to people who step up in an emergency and help save a life.

Allard attends West Noble High School, and the Red Cross is hoping his story will encourage others to get emergency response training.
