Indianapolis Airport once again named best in North America

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — When it comes to airport quality, Indianapolis Airport is the cream of the crop.

For the sixth year in a row, Indianapolis was named as best airport in North America, according to Airports Council International.

The ranking was based on customer service experience in 2017.

“Objective measurement and benchmarking are critical in driving performance in any business especially in such a competitive and dynamic one as an airport,” said Angela Gittens, Director General, ACI World. “These winning airports have dedicated themselves to delivering a stellar customer experience."

Although Indianapolis has made the winners list before, there were 16 first-time winning airports including, Rome Fiumicino, Casablanca, Toronto Pearson, Cleveland and Los Cabos.

Other airports in North America that took home top honors were Jacksonsville, El Paso, Ottawa, Toronto, Austin, Columbus, Dallas, Halifax, Pittsburg, San Antonio, San Jose, Tampa.

In 2017, Indianapolis was named the No. 1 airport in the nation by Conde Nast.
