EVANSVILLE (WFIE) — An Evansville mom has been taken into police custody and is facing child neglect and drug charges, WFIE reported.
Natalie Onay was found passed out in her car at an Evansville intersection.
Another driver told police that the light went green twice, but Onay's car didn't move, WFIE reported.
When police arrived on scene, Onay was starting to come to. They checked on her 10-month-old in the backseat who didn't seem to be harmed.
Onay admitted to doing heroin before attempting to drive home.
She was taken to the hospital and is now in police custody. Her 10 month old is in the care of child services.
