INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — An Indiana boy has gone viral on Facebook after a photo shoot he did with his beloved doll, Three.

Ashley Fitz is a professional photographer who works out of Shelbyville, according to her website. She posted photos of her son, Jynsen, and his doll on the Facebook page for her photography business, Ashley Mae Photography.

Fitz frequently posts photos of babies, toddlers and families on her page. She said her son wanted to be a part of that.

"This evening as I was editing, my youngest son informed me that his baby girl, named "three', has not had her pictures taken," Fitz wrote in the post. "I warned him that 'three' was slightly too old to get all of the curly newborn poses. He wanted to give it a go anyway."

The result was adorable pictures of Jynsen holding, cuddling and nurturing his baby girl.

The photos have been shared nearly 35,000 times since they hit Facebook Sept. 24.

Fitz told TODAY the doll was a gift for her son when her his father left on his last deployment. She said Jynsen loves riding his dirt bike and playing with his older brothers, but he still his a nurturing side.

Since Jynsen's dad returned from deployment, Fitz said he doesn't play with Three nearly has much, but he still has his moments.

"He still gets her out to rock her, play with her and push her in a swing from time to time," she told TODAY.

Most of the comments — more than 10,000 of them — were positive, but there were some users who spewed "some nasty hate." To those people, Fitz had one message: "Three and Jynsen go way back, and there's no breaking them up!"
