INDIANAPOLIS — A 4-year-old boy reported missing Tuesday night has been found safe.

Metro police say Donte Wright was found on the south side of Indianapolis and has been returned to his mother.

Police said Wright was last seen Tuesday, July 14 around 9 p.m. when the boy's father, Edrick Young, gave Donte to Chad Robinnette to watch at the 5300 block of Forest Pine Lane near North Lynhurst Drive and 10th Street.

When neither Wright's mother, Amber, or his father were able to get in contact with Robinette, they contacted police, who put out a missing persons bulletin for the boy early Wednesday morning.

13News has reached out to IMPD to see if there is an ongoing investigation into the boy's disappearance.
