INDIANAPOLIS — Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Indianapolis' northwest side.
It happened around 10 p.m. Thursday around 47th Street and Georgetown Road.
Officers called to a report of a shooting found an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a short time later. The coroner's office identified him as 20-year-old Elijah Ellis.
