(WTHR) — Hoosiers are reaching out to people in North Carolina nearly two weeks after Hurricane Florence hit, destroying thousands of homes.
The Midwest Food Bank and the Salvation Army sent six semis full of food and one semi with cleaning products to help people in need in the Carolinas.
And they're planning on sending more -- if Hoosiers support it.
They're accepting food donations at the distribution center on South Belmont Avenue in Indianapolis through mid-October.
