INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A line of storms that produced warnings in Illinois and western Indiana diminished below severe levels before reaching Indianapolis Saturday.
Heavy rain interrupted outdoor activities through the metro Indy area during the noon hour.
The storms produced some lightning that contributed to at least one fire in Plainfield.
No injuries were reported.
Outages reported to Indianapolis Power and Light numbered less than 100.
Outages were more numerous near Terre Haute, with local reports of hail around 11 a.m.
