Owners of a Hendricks County farm say they lost 60 goats in an early morning barn fire Tuesday.
The farm on 250 E and 500 N south of Pittsboro raised the show goats for 4H projects, according to one of the owners.
The fire started shortly after 7:00 am Tuesday. At least six different departments trucked water to the rural location but could not save the barn or the goats.
Investigators have not given a cause for the fire, but the owners suspect an electrical heat source might have sparked the fire.
