INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - An Indianapolis woman has been indicted on federal charges, accused of illegally buying dozens of guns.
Iva Patrick, 30, is alleged to have purchased 36 firearms from local gun stores on eight occasions.
U.S. Attorney Josh Minkler claims she used false information on forms to get the weapons that they believe were for the father of her three children.
Investigators say at least one of the guns was used in a deadly shooting in Chicago.
If convicted, Patrick could face up to 10 years in prison.
