MOORESVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) — An employee at the PacMoore Corporation has died after an industrial incident.
The incident happened around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday at the facility at 100 PacMoore Parkway in Mooresville.
Police said the worker was pronounced dead on the scene. The Morgan County coroner identified the victim Friday as 22-year-old Sean Merrell of Mooresville.
Coroner Annette Butcher said Merrell died from blunt force trauma after getting trapped in a machine he was cleaning at the facility.
"It was a tragic accident and our thoughts and prayers are with Sean’s family was well as all the owner and employees of PacMoore," Butcher said in a release.
