INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Far Fetched Dog Rescue in Indianapolis is in need of help to give a wonderful dog the final days she deserves.
Far Fetched specializes in dogs near the end of thier lives, with special needs or medical issues.
Honey came to the rescue after her owner passed away. When she was checked by a vet, they found she had a large tumor on her heart and there was nothing they could do.
She is expected to have fewer than 60 days left.
Honey is around 15 years old and the rescue wants to make sure her final days are full of love and adventure. They started a bucket list with a whole list of items for her, including a spa day, massage, chicken nugget dinner, trip to the beach and to be on TV. (We're helping her with that last one.)
To cover the expenses, the rescue has started a Facebook fundraiser and is hoping for whatever help it can get with the bucket list.
