INDIANAPOLIS — There is new artwork grabbing the attention of drivers along Interstate 465 on Indy's east side.

The painting company Renovia near 56th Street and Shadeland Avenue just added a mural to it's outside display wall next to the interstate.

The artwork is a multi-colored flag honoring first responders who have served others during the pandemic.

Community activist Antonio Patton organized dozens of teen boys and girls to help clean up the vandalism in downtown Indy after the riots, whom he calls heroes as well.

So the President of Renovia added words to the mural shared by Patton to help honor others, including young people.
